The City of Isanti is one of the fastest growing communities in Minnesota. City officials have been working on reducing the tax rate for residents and businesses. Making this a great place for businesses to grow and achieve success. Isanti is in the middle of everywhere, offering access to wonderful outdoor amenities for families and residents of all ages from beautiful parks, Rum River access for canoeing and kayaking, camping, concerts and the annual Isanti Firefighters Rodeo and North Hwy 65 Chamber of Commerce's Jubilee Days events. In 2022, Illuminate Isanti was launched as a holiday lighting display in our cherished Bluebird Park. In recent years, we have seen an explosion of residential growth being followed by commercial and industrial development. We understand business thrive where the people are and Isanti's population continues to grow each year! 
 
 

We partner with local and regional organizations to ensure businesses looking to grow in Isanti have access to the resources they need. We work with the ECRDC (East Central Regional Development Corporation) to help with gap financing and other business development resources. The ECRDC has a Business Resource Library to provide templates and information on how to create or update a business plan, marketing plan, grow customers and much more. GPS 45:93 is an economic development collaborative representing the 5 county area of Isanti, Pine, Mille Lacs, Kanabec and Chisago counties. Together we work together to provide a spectrum of services relating to workforce development, broadband infrastructure, financing and site selection. GPS 45:93 provides the City of Isanti with connections throughout the region and beyond to provide businesses with the best access to business services. The Initiative Foundation provides seed loans and small business loans to help businesses grow and succeed.
