The City of Isanti envisions a park, trail and natural resource system that will not only enhance the quality of life for its current residents; but will create a system that can be easily built upon in the future as Isanti continues to grow. Because people experience park amenities differently, Isanti has strived to have a variety of park systems that encourages health benefits from the small neighborhood park to natural open spaces.

Isanti has 261 acres of park land, recreation and natural resource areas within City limits; there are also over 29 miles of trails and walkways. While Bluebird Park represents the largest park with almost half of the total park land, 65 acres, and home to recreation amenities such as a nine field soccer complex, indoor BMX track, skate park and ball field; there are nine other city parks for residents and the community to enjoy. All the parks and facilities, 19 in total, offer not only recreational play areas but also at total of 15 play structures, many swing sets, play apparatus, numerous resting benches and an abundance of picnic tables.
