City Elections are held in even years. A primary election shall be held in the event more than two filings are received for any one open seat. Links for additional information will be added as items are updated.

If your address is WEST of HWY 65 and SOUTH of Heritage Blvd (Cty Rd. 5) You will Vote at Isanti City Hall.
All other residents will vote at the Isanti Community Center.

Qualifications for voting and registration:
Pre-registration for those who are not currently registered voters in Isanti closes 20 days prior to any election, according to law. You may register to vote up to 20 days before an election by stopping in at City Hall, 110 1st Avenue North; at the Isanti Government Center, 555 18th Avenue SW, Cambridge, MN 55008 or you may request that a registration card be sent to you by calling (763) 444-5512 or (763) 689-1644.

Eligible voters can register and vote on election day if they have proper identification. Any one of the following items can be accepted as sufficient identification for election day registration:
If the voter's photo identification does not contain a valid current address within the precinct, a voter may use one document from the list in (a) below containing the voter's current address within the precinct, in addition to one document from the list (b) below:
a) An original bill in your name for gas, electric, telephone, cellular, cable television, solid waste, water or sewer services showing your current address and due up to 30 days before or after election day, and
b) Your Minnesota Driver's License or identification card, United States passport, United States military identification card with your photograph or Minnesota post-secondary student identification card with your photograph.
Become an Election Judge
Election judges (poll workers) are paid officials who staff local polling places, carry out election procedures, and make sure that the rights of voters are protected. Serving as an election judge is a chance to learn about elections, and is a great service to the community. 2018 Election Candidate Campaign Financial Reports:
Per Minnesota Statutes, Chapters 211A and 211B, a campaign financial report must be filed when candidates/committees receive contributions or make disbursements of more than $750 in a calendar year. Reports will remain online for four (4) years from date posted. Reports for the 2018 election will be posted as they are received and will remain posted until November 2022.
