The City of Isanti is a community legally established under the laws of Minnesota. It is governed by a Mayor who serves a two-year term and four Councilmembers who also serve four-year terms. City Council members serve at large. City elections coincide with the general elections held in the fall of all even numbered years.
The City of Isanti Council meetings are typically held the first and third Tuesdays of each month at 7:00 p.m. in the Council Chambers at City Hall.
