Residential Dwelling Rental Licensing became part of the Isanti Code in May of 2008.  All residential rental dwelling units are required to be licensed.  An application with appropriate fee is submitted and then an inspection is scheduled and conducted on the property to assure compliance with the Minnesota State Building Code and the City of Isanti Code prior to the issuance of the license.  Violation of this section of the City Code is punishable as a misdemeanor.  Please click on the appropriate link below to view a copy of the application or the inspection check list.  The Rental Licensing Code section and the Maintenance Requirements can be viewed in their entirety in Chapters 253 and 256 respectfully of the Isanti City Code located on this Web Site.
